When they get the rest of their team off the DL will they start to pull away from the national league alltogether?

I don't know if they will ever leave the Braves and/or Phillies in the dust but I believe the Mets will win the division.

I think they will run away with it if they ever get everyone healthy. They have so many guys out right now that will have a positive impact when they return. People are saying their pitching staff is weak but in August they will have Pedro and hopefully Duaner Sanchez (i know i spelled that wrong). Soon they will have Alou back and he'll contribute and Endy is a huge guy off the bench that they've been missing lately. I think the Mets have the best team in the NL but they just haven't been playing like it yet. Reyes is having another MVP season and Beltran, Wright and Delgado in my mind are the best 3,4,5, guys in the NL, but they have been struggling just about all seaon. I say once they get 95% of the team healthy or better, team morale goes up, everyone starts hitting and the Mets take the divison by about 7 or 8 games and probably finish with the best record in the NL again.

no. you can't blalme it on the injuries. Sure they have had some pitching problems due to the guys on the DL, but the pitching is back now. the replacments for endy and moises are very good. Milliage is porving to be a valuable asset. the problem the Mets have is not getting home runs, not getting hits with runners in scoring postion and their two big home run hitters of last year, Carlos beltran and Carlos delgado are struggling. Thier pitching is good. they just have to hit when it counts.
