I'm currently trying to have a baby. I also just went off of the shot. Is there a risk for my baby if I do successfully get pregnant?

If you're off the shot you are fine, but being on the shot doesn't always mean that you'll have a baby with defects if you get pregnant. They really don't know what the side effects are on the fetus. My sister got pregnant on Depo and my niece is was fine, all 9 lbs 11 oz of her. Don't worry about it now, just focus on enjoying the process and make sure you talk to your doctor too, some people act like it's a waste of time, but that's what they get paid for.

If you get pregnant while on the shot, which the chances are even slimmer than if you are on birth control pills, there are defects associated with it. Coming off the shot, you are fine.
