I already have cablespeed right know and I really like it, but I am getting ready to move in a few weeks and where I am moving to it already has cable so there is no need for me to sign up for a cable bill. So I was wondering if DSL is just as fast as the cablespeed than I might as well go with DSL instead of making another cable account at the same address. So my question is which one is better/ faster, please help?

DSL on the average is slower (my cable is 20MB/sec) but you always get the max speed you are expecting. Cable can be faster but occasionally on a shared modem the cable company will sell too many customers and when they all get on, your connection gets slower.

I have had Verizon DSL and when there was a problem they were pretty unresponsive to my request to fix it. Cable guys get right on phone with you and help until it is OK.
