Any websites that break down every part of the name and give it a meaning? For ex: beginning of the name is Shaun... etc.

Not entirely sure what you're after but maybe this will help.

First, if you want the history of single names, what they mean and how they came to mean that, do NOT use "baby name" sites. Those are notoriously inconsistent, and most only give you the "meaning" (when they get that right!) but don't explain the words themselves.

Best option I know of is this site:
http://www.behindthname.com

You can search for all sorts of first names there. They also have a section of the web site devoted to last names (surnames) that you can reach here:
http://surnames.behindthename.com

Also pretty good for surnames:

Some names mean nothing really...and some mean one thing in one language, and something else in another...
I would know of no way to find out the meanings of all names (that actually have meanings)....
You may want to try to track the ORIGINS of a name...using geneology...and what you may know of the country (if any) the name was originated in....
Some names are names people have "made up"..and therefore have no TRUE meaning...other than to the people who came up with it...
