The most we have ever paid was to go see OZZY at the" No more tears "tour back in 1991.I think they cost around $85.00 a person. We ordered them over the phone.Every penny was worth it.There were a lot of scalpers outside the concert. We like to be ready and buy our tickets in advance.I don`t like the thought of buying a ticket from a scalper because you never know if they are an undercover cop since scalping is illegal. That would be our luck and i think i would rather see the concert than see the inside of a jail cell.Concerts are family outings for us now since our kids are old enough to go.We took our kids to see Matellica and Godsmack for their Birthday a couple of years ago and we all loved it.Our next outing will be the OZZFEST in Dallas ,TX.I just had to share this because we are all really exited about this one.We pre-ordered his new CD to get the special code to be able to get our share of Free Ticket`s.I would have to say that this might be the most expensive one we will be going to because we will have to miss work(unpaid)for two days.We can`t take vacation for these two day`s.

About 5 years ago, it wasn't at all hard for me to get tickets. But now, it seems like every single show sells out immediately, even if you're first in line or buying them off ticketmaster.com, I blame scalpers and radio stations for getting all the good seats before they go on sale. Last year I bought a Tool ticket off eBay for $100, but the most I payed was $150 to be in the pit at Nine Inch Nails. It was worth it, good show and I was right next to the stage. The most I ever paid for a concert ticket without using eBay or a scalper, was $80 for the Summer Sanitarium 2003 show...it was Metallica, Limp Bizkit (booh), Linkin Park, Deftones, and Mudvayne.

Always buy tickets off the internet beforehand. The most I've ever paid to see a concert is £30something to go and see Tenacious D, however my fiance bought me Meat Loaf tickets for Christmas, which I think were £40something. I'm quite lucky, the bands I really like (e.g. Bowling for Soup, Backyard Babies) usually only play at universities or are not as popular, so never really spend more than £20. Saying that, going to see Alice Cooper for just over £20 in November, so good value. Not that I'm cheap or anything....!

QUEEN last year...3 tickets at $198 a piece, and that was after Freddie. I guess I should say QUEEN and PR. Fifth row seats...Brian's side of the stage. Awesome! That was the first concert I had been to in over 20 years (raising kids). Prior to that it was The Police's Synchronicity tour in 84 or 85? Tickets were $20. Wonder what Police tickets are now?

Well, I paid about $100 to see the Who in concert. When I got to the concert, I saw a ticket scalper, and I paid him about $40 extra and exchanged my ticket for a better ticket he had. I have no regrets, because I was 10th row in front of the stage, and I was so close that I saw Roger Daltrey's wedding band! :)

Wow! You saw Queen! You're so lucky!

Do festival tickets count? If so, £160 for the Download festival (all three days) is my biggest purchase.

Individually, I've paid around £80 for Iron Maiden tickets. Well worth it though!

I always use Ticketmaster, but the only problem I have with them is that they delliver to the address used on your credit/debit card (my folks' address. I'm in the forces and use them as a permanent address. I move about too much and I'd be contacting my bank every few years otherwise). There is no scope for an alternate delivery address and so my folks have to recorded deliver it to me after they recieve it!

the most i paid i think was around 70... i can't remember which show it was because I've been to over 100. But I do remember thinking that was quite a lot. I never get stuck without tickets because I get them as soon as they're released. I don't trust scalpers.

I think the most I have paid was the last time I went to see the Rolling Stones. It was like 250.00 per ticket or something like that. A couple of times when I didn't have tickets I have gone to the venue anyway and scalped them.
