Hey, I consider myself fairly mature, but Slipknot kind of do suck. Other than Jordison's drumming, that is. In all seriousness (though the above opinion really is mine): I absolutely do prefer the Beatles though, with particular attention to their songwriting and lyricism. George's guitar, Paul's bass, and yes, even Ringo's drums were very "out there" for when they were around, however. Which, by the way, was over 30 years before Slipknot started, so the comparison is quite shaky anyway. Other bands are still following in their footsteps even now. People often also lose sight of the fact that the Beatles ENTIRE career happened from 1963 to 1970. In those 8 years, they released *13* albums, with a bare minimum of any "throwaway" tracks, and in the process showed tremendous musical growth from their first few to the later ones. By comparison, Slipknot has taken 9 years to release only 4 albums, with not honestly a whole lot to distinguish any one from the other 3.

I like them both, but I have to give the point to the beatles, I mean, come on, they are THE BEATLES! We'll have to see where slipknot is in 40 years to compare

That question is like asking Bob Dylan or Milli Vanilli ?
You cannot compare the Beatles with Slipknot they make different music .

I would say the beatles are more popular and they were I think the FIRST rock band... SLIPKNOT IS JUST MODERN DAY
