miami to seattle?

Coming out of Miami, you might be able to get a deal.

What you need to do, is contact someone who hauls cars (or a broker). If they have an open space (less than a full load) they might cut you a deal.

A typical FULL load from Miami to Seattle will pay about $1.75 per mile to the truck. Even if it is 1 car short, they get the same rate. If they have an opening....this is where you get your deal.

You can list your car with a broker....negotiate your own price. Someone may snatch it up to cover the cost of fuel. Either way, it will take you a few days to get the deal done.

The main factors will be how soon you want the car delivered, whether it is door to door service or office to office, and whether you want an open or closed container. I think it can range anywhere from $1000 to $2000, based on how you want it shipped. Googling "auto transport" should yield quite a few different companies...

Good luck...

It will depend on size of car, how fast you need it there, open or enclosed trailer, and the time of year you're shipping it. Shipping a Chevy Impala that runs, in an open trailer, with one company is $1800 today (7-17). They say one to several days to pick up the vehicle.

I wanted to transport my car, and just googled car transport companies. Some of them will give you a quote online, some of them will either call you back or email you back with a quote.

I know that from chicago to portland oregon it was going to cost about 800.
