baby name questions.....?

Question

when and if my husband and I have a baby, we were thinking of these names.... which ones would you pick over the other?

girls--> Hannah (not sure on middle name)
Madayln (not sure on middle name)
Tara Lynn

boys----> Jordan Michael
Noah (not sure on middle name)


let me know and if you have unique names let me know as well...i want something unique but not something "weird" and out of the ordinary.... thanks a bunch ladies and gents! ;)

My favorites from your list are Madalyn and Noah. My name is Madeline (I prefer it spelled my way or Madelyn, but I still like it Madalyn) and my name is Madeline Terese. Madalyn Grace and Madalyn Rose are very pretty!

Hannah is ridiculously common right now no matter how you spell it. I only know a couple Jordan's and I only know my cousin Madalyn. I like Jordan Michael. Madalyn is pretty as well and Tara Lynn is very nice, but popular when I was a child, in the 80's. It totally comes down to a name you like that a child will also like. Keep in mind any ways that other children can make fun of them, especially initials are important!!! Mine are GMB and in middle school everyone started calling me Gumby! It was awful.

I like Madalyn the best. I don't like Tara at all. I didn't care for Jordan Michael because I think of Michael Jordan. Noah is nice.

I think it's totally normal to think about baby names, but selecting anything at this point is fruitless. People change and what you like now may not be your first choice when you actually are pregnant.

Hannah is really overdone. Jordan Michael just makes everyone think Michael Jordan so....no. The rest are fine, but don't put the cart before the horse. Write down favourites and when the time comes that you need one, you'll have a starting point. :)

All are nice but I don't like Hannah because it reminds me of Hannah Montana (not cute). Jordan Michael? I like Jordan and Michael but both don't go together....unless you played for the Chicago Bulls in the early 90's.

Personally, I like Voltaire.....It's unique and nice for a boy.

For a girl, I like Soraya or Sophia :)

It's really cute when Husband and Wife premeditate the names of their unborn children.....my Husband and I do it all of the time....we'll, hear a unique name and we'll be like, "ooohh, I like that name for our future kid" :) hehe...

If you are looking for something weird maybe you would also like to take in consideration if ever your child would go to school already and he has some weird name if someone might make fun about it or something, if you want something meaningful names for your child go to some website that gives the meaning of names. Some say that you acquire the meaning of your names, so just be careful. For me, I do not want to see my child crying after school just because someone made fun about his name.

I personall like all of the names. I think they are very good names that sound like they are strong as well as straight forward.
