Anyone know of a good way to get downpayment assistance?

Second jobs always work well. Downpayment 'assistance' does not exist, save for a few limited markets where municipalities are granting a few bucks to convince buyers to purchase in blighted areas, in hopes of reviving and rehabbing those areas.

I'm going with the first answer - PARENTS!
My parents gave us $10,000 to put down on our first home.
We're now selling that and buying our 2nd home and now have $20,000 to put down thanks to the equity we had in our 1st. If it wasn't for my parents, I would have never been able to save up that first down payment.
