Yes they were totally nuts dude!!! I love Newcastle but this was really crazy doings. As if he would play for them, no offense to the Geordies but why the hell would he want to? Quite possibly the best player in the world and 'they' made an offer for him, plain stupid really!!!! They need to work on doing well as a team before they can atract world-class players. This is something they have really sucked at lately and there is more chance of George Bush marrying an Iraqi then there is Newcastle signing Ronaldinho!!!! Next they'll want Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka in a swoop deal for Alan Shearer and Glenn Roeder thinking that's possible!!! what the f!#k?
