I exercise almost everyday for at least 45 minutes, doing cycling, jogging, tennis, tae bo, or going for walks. I eat healthier than most people I know (I never eat fast food and I don't eat junk food very often, maybe once a week). I'm pretty sure I don't overeat, and I never eat until I'm overly full. Yet I still cannot lose weight. I'm 5'3 and about 155-160lbs.
I've also been battling episodes of depression on and off for almost 4 years now.
My periods are regular, but last only 2-5 days (and even when it lasts 5 days, it's hardly anything on the 5th day).
I don't really have that great of a memory, but I always thought that was heriditary.
I hate the cold.
My hair isn't thinning at all.
Some days I just feel lethargic all day, but others I feel normal.
I plan on going to the doctor soon to get this checked out, but I was just curious as to what people on here have to say about this. :)
Does this sound like it could be hypothyroidism?

Sounds like its possible. Get a first thing in the morning blood test of TSH, free t4, free t3, and an antibody test.

You might want to start taking your temp for a few days first thing i the morning and again in the afternoon. If it's low consistently then you have another symptom to tell your doctor.

Basically, the TSH should be under 2.0. However you won't get treatment unless its under 3.0 or your free t4 or free t3 are low. Some doctors won't treat you until the TSH is above 5.5, because they are going by the outdated lab ranges that most labs haven't changed yet.

It could be hypothyroidism. I think the only way to tell for sure is to have a blood test to determine if your thyroid levels are low or not.

You do say that you've been battling depression, have you been taking any medications for that? Certain antidepressants have a propensity to make you gain weight.

I’d suggest going to your doctor to have it checked out. You don’t have to have all the symptoms of the disorder to have hypothyroidism. And perhaps there's something else going on.

From your symptom, it sounds like you might have hypothyroidism. It's easy to treat, you just need to take some pill once a day in the morning to regulate it.

hypothyroidism is pretty common and some of your symptoms do match, it just takes some simple blood work to determine if you have it. It is easily treated with medication.
