Can anyone solve this?

y = 49x2 + 4x - pi , your grade would be the derivative, dy/dx,
evaluated for the independent variable x = 1. Good luck.

This is my test grade on my college algebra test after I requested my grade. My professor thinks he's funny.

Sounds like your prof has a wild sense of humor!
The derivative of 49x² + 4x -pi = 98x + 4.
Now plug 1 in to get 102.

y = 49x2 + 4x - pi
dy/dx = 98x +4
dy/dx(1) = 98 +4 = 102
