Business Travel Allowance (BTA).

If anybody asked you to transfer money for this, then ignore it. Take care it might be related to the Nigerian scam.

As the others have said it is the Association of British Travel Agents - this would mean that if the travel agent went under you would be honoured your holiday or refunded your money (well most of it i think)

the other likely term you will see is iata which is the International Association of Travel Agents - much the same but bigger

This question comes up a heck of a lot. The Guy above me is right. Often it's called basic travel allowance, not sure if it's for real or not. All I can advise is for you to beware of scammers (usually online girlfriends) trying to get money from you.
