all facillities that sell oil or provide oil change services and have the facillities to store and dispose of used oil, are required to accept waste oil from individuals by law.

Jiffylube will take it at no cost. And if you don't want to ask go after they are closed and dump it in. The container should be next to the trash container, open it up dump it in.

Give Advance or Auto Zone a shot first. They definitely take used motor oil, whether from cars, motorcycles, or other engines, free of charge.

Depends on the individual shop...... if you take your car to them and have the oil changed.... and you happen to have a jug of used oil in the trunk to get rid of.... ask them if they'd mind taking it. The shop I frequent doesn't have a problem with taking small amounts from my lawn equipment & motorcycles. But I wouldn't just walk in and expect them to take your junk oil without doing a little business with them.

As long as it is clean oil, with no floaties, gas/antifreeze etc....
I don't see why they wouldn't.

They may charge for the disposal.

Try a recycling center, they are usually free for this service

if they take normal car oil you bring in for free then yes, they wont know the difference.

i know auto parts stores usually do.

no, they only dispose of conventional motor oil not 2 stroke.
