O'Donnell kept to her word, contributing $2,300 to his campaign, the maximum donation for the primary, while Maher chipped in $1,000. They were among the more than 50 contributions that Franken, a former "Saturday Night Live" star, received from actors, writers, producers and others in the last reporting period, his campaign finance report shows.

Shows how these libs are putting all bets on to get a comedian into the Senate, next it will be Jerry Springer. Its interesting with all the talk of legislation on campaign finance reform that we still do not question why people from other states can contribute to someone in a state so far from where they live. What do they get our of it, that is always the question if a company contributes to a candidate.

The fact that Maher gave anything amazes me.
He strikes me as a person who would NEVER pick up the tab for anything, but I could be wrong.
Rosie may be a lot of things, but cheap is not one of them.
I know she gave a lot of money after 9/11.
She deserves credit for that.

Maher is the smartest one in the bunch. For a thousand dollars he can get this guy on his show throughout Franken's campaign.

O'Donnell is a useless human being. She actually lives near me, and EVERY single person I know who met her, waited on her, knows her, thinks she's damn near the meanest person alive, and tips like crap.

Maher, I've never met, but he does seem like someone who'll be cheap like that.
