We are drowning between child support set too high and paying off loans, and trying to save for a car! All the information I look up is based on credit card debt instead of something similar to our problem. Any links or info on debt other than credit card debt??

The loans aren't bank loans but instead payday loans. All credit counselors have told us they don't work with these issues. Due to these things, can't get bank loan to consolidate debts.

Talk with the court or your social worker to readjust the child support payments.
Paying off loans should be a priority. Check researching books on personal finance, they can be very helpful in helping you save and manage money:
-The Complete Idiot's Guide to Personal Finance in your 20s and 30s
-The Complete Idiot's Guide to Managing Your Money
-“Smart Women Finish Rich” or “The Automatic Millionaire”, by David Bach
-any Suze Orman books

I see the magic word "loan*s*"...

Talk to your bank about consolidating into one loan at a lower rate and lower payment.

Apply to the courts for a lower support payment.

Then there is the evil of bankruptcy...a last resort.

In any case, see a credit councilor
