i agree with the 1st thing you said. i hope its not true because edge is the best champion, & best superstar on smackdown. if hes not on smackdown , i really have no reason to watch.
i think rey mysterio will come back and win, and then he will lose it at great american bash against someone like kane or batista. and then start a fued with whoever the champ is.

Smackdown title curse strikes again
Edge has a torn pectoral muscle from taking a bad bump during the Mardi Gras angle on the Smackdown show that aired on Friday. He is out for an undetermined length of time, depending upon whether he goes in for surgery and just tries to have it heal from rehab. He was particularly bummed over the timing of the injury because the plan was a long reign as champion and top star on the brand.
The plan as of yesterday, which still could be changed today, was for a Battle Royal to determine the new champion. The winner of the Battle Royal will make their first title defense on Sunday's Great American Bash in San Jose.
Apparently, they haven't decided yet who they will put the title on.

20 man battle Royal at the Great American Bash for the soon to be Vacant World Heavyweight title. but i want to see Johnny Nitro or CM Punk (ECW Champion), the next World Heavyweight Champion, and John Cena or Bobby Lashley (WWE Champion) should unify their titles to become the new Undisputed WWE/ECW World Heavyweight Champion.

I know who it is Mark Henry, he will most likely replace Edge!!! This may be a rumor like that person that said Mickie James was suspended somehow she managed to have a match on RAW!!!
