Love it... love is lovely.

Guess between the lines you'd like to know if that could be taken as being forward? being too friendly? misunderstood for something too sentimental? Nah... maybe in the old days. In spanish the words "Te quiero" and "Te amo" may make a difference that could very well work for the case... "Te quiero" could only translate to "I want you" but it is more like I love you as I love my friends, family, my dog...etc. "Te amo" is "I love you" and could be used only for a couple, lover, girlfriend, son, daughter... I would doubt even using it with another man due to the sentimental "value" attached to it.

I love sending you my love!

If I understand the context, I am comfortable with it. If I do not understand the context, I am somewhat guarded. Mostly, I hope to be worthy of such an honor, but do not wish to break any commitment to anyone I am already in a relationship with, be it friendship, a professional relationship, a romantic relationship, or even a casual one. Love can be very complicated, and giving or accepting it indiscriminately without understanding what I am committing to, would be irresponsible of me.

I can have "Storge" or ove of mankind for anyone.

I can have Philial love, or love of mind for individuals that I have developed a relationship with over time, and whom I have developed a mutual respect with.

I have "Eros" or physical love for a very limited number of people, and only after establishing a long term relationship based on mutual trust. I am currently in a lifetime relationship with one individual and have agreed to restrict , most physical manifestations of this type of love to that relationship.

I can have Agape, or deep spiritual love for someone I have touched souls with. This is the deepest and most easily misunderstood form of love. It is not at all exclusive to any individual, but it is rarely felt and difficult to achieve.

Love is a powerful word, and in the wrong hands, it can be a bullet in a poorly made weapon. AS I have said on many occasions, it can mean everything or nothing, depending on the way it is used. It can inspire trust or suspicion depending on the context in which it is spoken or written, and without mutual understanding, it can be a wedge that drives otherwise compatible individuals apart.

Hope this helps.

Have been told by men and women alike but these are people who have been through situations requiring the network of close friend and family support, like Alzheimer's, Cancer, Sexual Abuse, Domestic Violence, Divorce. A person as an individual, has to draw the line of keeping support at friendship and not getting involved romantically or determining if they are capable of this much commitment to a friend or family member.

There are some friends with whom I regularly exchange the phrase 'I love you' and others with whom it is just weird. For example, I said it in a message on my best friend's phone one time (just a casual, 'I love you, BYE!') and immediately felt the need to call back and leave another message explaining the end of the first one!

I feel humbled and flattered. To receive and to accept when someone tells you that is the most wonderful gift anyone can give to another. By the way, I love you.

Just fine. If someone means alot to you, you should tell them, whether it be a friend, family member, etc. :) I'd love to be told that I was loved by just about anyone at all!

I would feel uneasy because I don't feel that way with them I don't want to hurt anyone feelings it's worst that it's my friend's feeling tell them you are sorry you can't feel that way for them they can try to forget you by not seeing you for a while when they are ready they can come to see you as a friend.

By a friend is just fine, just so long as nobody is IN love with me.
