Could I possibly Ovulate this long????

I have been charting and just recently started checking my cervix to help me better keep up with my ovulation days but my cervix and CM have been consitant with the SHOW soft high open and wet I am now on cycle day 18 My lmp was June 30 my cycle is 28 days long so I suppose to ovulate around the 14 but like I said my Cm has been creamy egg like since then what does this mean???? Thanks in advance for the answers!!

And how long after ovulation does the cervix go back to the low hard posistion???

Following ovulation within a day or so the cervix goes back closed and gets slightly firmer and moves down. Fertile mucus is like raw eggwhites--clear, slimey, and stretchy, it will easily stretch a few inches between your fingers, it isn't creamy. The fertile mucus can last for a week or more on either side of ovulation due to high estrogen.
Often the changes in the cervix can be hard to identify for the first few months checking.
You most likely already ovulated.
