So my last period which was June 20th was induced by my gyne because I wasn’t getting it on my own…I have one blocked fallopian tube, I found that out when I had an HSG done during the time she induced my period… I did the ovulation kit and never received a positive and I have been doing that for about 4 months and never received a positive. I still did the counting of days to track my ovulation time and had sex every other day up until Sunday. Well I took a pregnancy test last night and it was negative. Did I test too early? I would take it later it if I knew when to expect my next period but they are so off that it is really difficult to track. Can anyone help? I have been tct for a year and a half. Thanks ladies baby dust to all of you!

It really sounds like you didn't ovulate and without ovulation you can't get pregnant. You need to start using something to induce ovulation, like Clomid.

OK.... First off I wish you the best of luck! Second, My period is the same as yours. It comes sometimes, and sometimes it doesn't. That is the hardest thing when you are trying to get pregnant. The only method that has worked for me is to keep testing every week. I know that is expensive and hard, but it is the only thing I have found that works. Since you have a blocked fallopian tube, the ovulation test probably won't show up right. Plus if that is the ovary that is producing the egg that month, it will be harder. I know that I probably didn't help, but that is what I think.

Hi Sweetie,

I'm sorry that this journey has been frustrating for you. TTC is emotional enough without roadblocks like this. Here's what I think... you have 1 blocked tube, irregular periods, possibly a lack of ovulation, and it's been a 1.5 years that you 've been trying. Honey, I don't think you're going to do this on your own. At this point, I really think you should see a fertility specialist. A specialist will know things that your regular GYN isn't trained to know, or doesn't deal with everyday. Wouldn't that be nice to be pregnant in a few months because your specialist figured something out that was an easy fix? You might even need something to help you ovulate, like Clomid. Some women take fertility pills and get pregnant rather quickly...you may be one of those women. In any case, it's time to explore your options. Go see a fertility specialist for at least one consultation, you never know what he/she might have to say.

And in case the doctor you're seeing now is a fertility specialist, tell him/her it's time to step things up and you want to be tested to see if you ovulate and then go from there.

Good luck.

well you could have tested to soon depending on how long your cycles are you may need to wait a few more days and test again some women cant get a positive hpt until they have missed there period and some cant at all they have to have a blood test so wait a while longer than see your Dr Good luck to you
