i have just finished my first course of 50mg clomid.when is the best time to start trying? has anyone else done a course of the same dose and concieved first time round?

After you take your last tablet of Clomid you can expect to ovulate anywhere from 5-14 days after. So, start having sex every other day.

You will ovulate anywhere from 5 to 14 days after you take your last Clomid pill. I reccommend using ovulation test strips from day 12 of your cycle until you get a positive.
My doctor advised me to have sex every other day starting about four days before your ovulation day and ending about four days after your ovulation day. Since you aren't sure when you will ovulate this month, start trying on day ten of your cycle.

I got pregnant within the first 3 cycles of clomid.

I was on my second cycle of 50mg when I conceived so keep hoping. It is difficult to not just see sex as 'baby making'. Try to have sex when you feel like it - your body often signals the best time to have sex i.e. you feel horny - rather than when a little pink ovulations strips tells you. Good luck.

i was taking clomid and i researched everything about it so maybe you could do that as well it really helped me. i am sorry i cant be more help i just cant remember. are you temping? do you have a fertility monitor? those things are really great when using clomid! good luck! oh i had to stop taking clomid b/c dr was wanting to check my tubes and now period is MIA so they cant check my tubes anyway.

50mg did not help me ovulate, but 100mg did, start trying every other day starting in the next few days. we don't know what cycle days you took them or when you will ovulate, but you should use charting and ovulation tests to make sure you are good luck!http://www.babycenter.com/refcap/preconception/gettingpregnant/3195.html
