There are "not nice" women in every nationality, and there are some extremely nice women in every nationality. You, in America, are fortunate enough to have an above average number of 'nice women', with an added advantage of being above average intelligent and futuristic. Anyone who judges ALL American women "not nice", are ignorant idiots, who don't qualify for a minute of anyone's time. You are obviously, one of the "nice" ones, to be so concerned. Just stay as sweet as you are, you are loved the world over.

Yes we are. We trash eachother all the time. When a man cheats we blame to woman more then him. We laugh at eachother for the way we look or how we act. We think it is fun to put other women down...... no matter who you are you know you do it.... We did it when we were little, in high school, and even now that we are adults. Not matter how old you get it doesn't stop.
I've wondered how to stop it my whole life..... but i'm not sure there is a way.
This isn't just American women but I think we do it more!

Nationality has nothing to do with it. Do you think other Americans think this or the rest of the world? I've met interesting and charming American women and boring and shallow American women, just like every other nationality.

I don't know, I only have the viewpoint of an American. I also wonder about what our image is like in various other countries, I think it is good in some places, bad in others. Lots of it depends on how a certain country's media depicts us. We can "battle" it by proving them wrong. If people's in person impression of us is good, then no amount of second or third hand accounts of our "evil" will prove their own expirience wrong.

some people will always pigeon hole people into stereotypical rolls.
I always try and treat people as individuals and not to jump to conclusions based on race/creed/colour/religious beliefs, judge people on there actions, and hope to be treated the same way.

The few American women I have known have always been really nice, but there is a media stereotype of them being either trailer trash or uptight power mad career obsessed men haters, which probably isn't helping.

I dont think so no...I have always thought they were nice...I think some of the TV shows from the U.S. havent done American women any favours...a lot of them make American women seem promiscuous...alwas dating a different man every night and and so on...but I have always found lots of traits very enviable, such as determination and single mindedness.

You can't do anything about it other than be yourself and walk around those who want to stereotype you. "Not nice" is often used to describe women who live life by their own rules. "Not nice" is a compliment. If being an individual and true to yourself is "not nice" than I am perfectly willing to be thought of as the nastiest b*tch on the planet : )

There is NO way you can judge women as "nice" or "not nice" by their Nationality. It is an impossibility.

you dont need a battle plan.

My life long I have lived with a rather simple concept.
the world is full of people. we all experience the same emotions. we each suffer over many of the same things. we all have to go through puberty. people are people.
