I handed in my resume to Mcdonalds and the next day I got a call back to go for an interview on the next day. The manager on the phone told me that she might not be there and if she isn't then ask for another manager. So when i went to the interview, she wasn't there so as told I asked for another manager. And he told me, "Oh..I'm not aware of any interview, the other manager never told me about this. OK we will call you back". So after this i left, I waited about 2 days and i never got a call back. So i called them back myself. I talked to the manager who called me into the interview, and i told her what had happened. She told me that she had to check her scedule and that she would call me back. After about 8 hours, she finally did call me back and resceduled my interview. The interview was sceduled to be in 11 days.
All this stuff happens for a job at mcdonalds?!! Does all this mean that mcdonalds does not really want to hire me?

No, it means they are disorganized and you're better off finding work elsewhere. No offense but anyone can get hired at mcdonalds, if they had to reschedule the interview it was more than likely just poor time management on their end.

Let's look at it from McD's (or any employer's) point-of-view.

- Did you dress well?
- Did you have a clean and neat appearance?
- Were your hands and face clean?
- Was your hair neat and tidy (if you have long hair, did you tie it down in a pony tail or put it under a hat? You'll have to do so if you end up working there!)?
- Were you friendly?
- Did you make eye contact?
- Do you have a way to get to work on a regular basis?
- Did you have any references? (if it's your first job, family, teachers, employed friends, etc, are just as good)
- Are you going to be a good worker? (i.e., show up on time, without excuses, in uniform, etc)
- Are you in reasonably good health? (impolitic though it may be, McD's and other fast-food places are no place for crutches, wheelchairs, seeing-eye dogs, etc)
- Are you flexible with your schedule?
- Do you send out the right "vibes"? (street 'tude will get you nowhere; practice interviewing in front of a mirror or camera; a genuinely earnest smile not only sends out the right "message", but actually can lift your spirits, as well as those around you!)
- Did you visit them during "crush" hours? Maybe they were just too busy! Try between 2pm and 4pm.

Finally, don't be dejected about rejections. It happens to everyone. Pick yourself up, and move on!

BTW, the word is "scHedule", not "scedule" (granted, most employers couldn't give a darn about good English, but, respectfully, it wouldn't hurt to better yourself!).

no. it just means they weren't communicating among themselves. It's a phenomena not specific to McDonalds. It can happen anywhere, and does.

It speaks well to the manager that you were interested enough to show up AND to call back. Good luck

You don't want to work for McDonalds. Even more, don't even think of eating there.
