The Wardstone Chronicles/The Spooks Series Author: Joseph Delaney Books in series: 1. Spook's Apprentice 2. Spook's Curse 3. Spook's Secret 4. Spook's Battle 5. Spook's Mistake A wonderful and terrifying series by a new writer about a young boy training to be an exorcist. Thomas Ward is the seventh son of a seventh son and has been apprenticed to the local Spook. The job is hard, the Spook is distant and many apprentices have failed before Thomas. Somehow Thomas must learn how to exorcise ghosts, contain witches and bind boggarts. But when he is tricked into freeing Mother Malkin, the most evil witch in the County, the horror begins ... Its a great read for all ages, the characters are interesting, the plots are great, its probably scary for younger readers and they are making a film based on the first book. The Spooks Sacrifice is out this year around early june.

I am totally a compulsive reader! When I was a kid, I would read two or three books in a day, and my parents would get so annoyed because my book compulsion was so expensive! I grew up in a place that did not have a public library and no bookstores, and it was 100 miles to real civilization! Talk about needing to stock up when we went into town!

Anyway, I'm still a compulsive reader, but I try to only read one book a week!

Yesterday, I got some books that I had ordered off the Internet. The book I decided to read first was Fahrenheit 451....I finished it last night. If I'm reading a book for the first time, I can't put it down until I am finished. If it's for the second or third or forth time, I read it at a slower pace.

I am. If you give me a good book that I like I will literally read it through everything. I will read it while I eat a meal, and while I do most everything. I will not put that book down if I really like it.
