i have a project and i chose this picture.. i found it on google a while back and now no matter what keywords i use, i cant find it anymore and i need to know what its called.. does anyone know??
here is the pic, but there is no name

Respectfully, to the previous poster, it is spelled "Annunciation", which means "announcement".

And, with respect to the author of this post, why didn't you simply go to your library or local bookstore, and browse a da Vinci book? Or, to take a more direct approach, since the website you listed is clearly from Wikipedia.org (i.e., its offshoot, "WikiMedia.org"), you could have easily scoured that site or the 'net for it, just by typing the words "da Vinci art"!

It's part of the painting called the "Annuncitation" Go to google, and google in "Annuncitation by Leonardo da Vinci"

Well I have just spent an hour searching the web for this pic, I am very interested to hear who it was by. It appears not to have been Leonardo. It looks French, 14th 15th century. I give up. JB

Well I'll be danged, it is a fragment of the whole painting, bugga me, couldn't see it till I blew it up. It is Leo. Kool. Clever Dudes. JB
