I thought it was awesome, and I was really expecting to be very disappointed. It was much funnier than I expected. They found a lot of humor to exploit in the situation of the boy dealing with talking giant robots, but they didn't make fun of the transformers themselves. Of course I'll always a special place in my heart for the original 1987 animated movie.

Yes, I saw it this past week, and it was Very good!
For a die-hard Transformers cartoon fan, there are some things have changed in the movie compared with the cartoon.
But it's understandable that some things had to be changed or updated for todays generation.
The Transformers themselves are done so well, that you really believe that they are right there walking and talking to the other characters in the movie.
There was great action, some good humor thrown in, and appearances from actors i did not expect to see.
There was only a couple of things in the movie I was unhappy with, but they were very small things that I have easily overlooked in light of a great movie.
I was on the edge of my seat, the last 30 minutes or so of the movie.
And without spoiling the end, I will say that, the movie will have sequels, like the Pirates, Spider-Man, and XMen franchises.

I never was a Transformers geek as a child so I went into the movie with no expectations. And I really enjoyed it. The special effects were great. The actors were pretty darn good. And I would definetly go to see a sequel if they make one. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

Seen it. Loved it enough to spread the word. And I plan on buying it as soon as it comes out on DVD. The action, the funny parts, and the design of each Transformer was out of this world. Most entertaining of 2007. Most talked about movie. I hear people talking about it. Transformers was my favorite show to watch years ago.

It was best movie of 2007. Even though Harry Potter has earned the most money in 2007, transformer was much better. The technology was simply amazing, and it wasn't just about robots, it was about relationship between shia ( disturbia dude) and megan foxx. Shia + Robots fighting + megan foxx = best film of the year.

Best movie I've seen this year....I actually went to see it twice, and going to the movies is not something that I'm really into.

It was horrible and much too long!! The storyline was stupid and it was full of explosions that were unnecessary. I definitely did not care for it. Plus, what kind of name is Bumblebee(especially for an Autobot) and when everyone else have much cooler names?

Yeah, they did change some stuff from the original but most of it they did to make it better.
