i just installed a new flush kit and now i have a high pitched ring going on after someone flushes?

Open the water valve some more

Sometimes this will quit after a few uses. You might try decreasing your water supply with the shut off valve under your toilet or increase the pressure. This will eliminate most of those noises under most circumstances. If it continues or gets worse, there's nothing else to do but change it out with another one if it bothers you that much.

It sounds like the water flow may be pinched off. Try making some adjustments and see if the sound changes. good luck.
