but what about something that was re-issued.. say queen's bohiem raps... etc.
wet wet wet was annoying song also..lol
i'm sure "unchained melody" has been in the charts a LOT of weeks also... thanks to people like Simon Cowell.. perhaps covering version SO much is pretty rubbish and don't show a lot of talent.
so u'd have to be very specific in which sense you meant..
i'll always remember dexy's midnight runners singing "jacky wilson" on top of the pops with jockey wilsons picture behind em...lol

'Please Release Me' was the no 1 to stay the longest on the charts, a total of 56 weeks, though 'only' 6 of these were in pole position.
