Quite the team or suck it up and play up to his/her standards. If you go and privately talk about it to the coach he/she will probably make an example out of you and embarrass you in front of the team. You only have two options.

When your coach talks down to you like that, all you can do is to tune them out. My coach did the same thing and that's how I survived. When I entered my last year of the program, I gave right back. Confronting the coach is not a good idea b/c to them their actions are justified and that you are being a baby about it. You know how well you play, don't let the coach stop you from being the player you want to be. Good luck on the season.

u should talk to ur coach. tell the coach what he or she is doing that is hurting u. if that does not work then do ur best. play hard. run as fast as u can. show the coach that u are doing the best that u can!!! show the coach that what he or she is doing wrong. or talk to ur parents. tell them that ur softball coach is bring u down. they might talk to the coach. Good Luck!!! <3

My recommendation would be if your coach is "bringing you down" in front of the rest of the team, call them out on it right then and there. If s/he is saying that you are doing something wrong, ask him/her how they would like it done. This way instead of looking "soft" in front of the team (like you're just gonna take their crap), you are showing that you are being strong and that you are trying to learn. Your teammates will see that you are strong and will have more respect for you.
If your coach is bringing you down privately, you can still call them out during practice. As an example, if they are getting on your case about your fielding, after you field a ball during practice, as them if you fielded the ball correctly. If they say "no", ask them what you can do differently next time so that you are fielding the ball correctly.

ignore him/her and pretend that ur listening. thats what i do. like whenever they tell u oh do this or u are doing this wrong. just be like okay sure
even though their suggestions may help, u can listen to them just tell them to tell u in a nicer way. have a talk with your coaches
