Our good friend made dinner for her parents, and when she brought the "roast pan" to the dinner table, it was full of baby toys! They were so excited!

Use the old Simpsons one when they were going to have Maggie. Have people u know of from the neighborhood to suddenly start saying congradulation without any of information. Your husband might have to be a little slow for this but it works on most men lol...it would also help if something happens to him that might be cause for celebration so he doesnt suspect anything in which case. Like it being his birthday or you giving him something special or w/e...not that the baby won't be special :) congradulations in advance!

Have a family dinner. When everyone is seated and ready to say grace, hand your husband a gift. Tell him so everyone can hear "I got you a special gift". When he opens the gift is should be a pair of baby booties and a note saying "I Love You Daddy!"

Fill his drawer with newborn diapers and a note saying, Make room, Daddy. OR Give him a Father's Day card from his new little one. OR you could write it on a plate under his dinner. When he's finished, that could be his dessert. You could also do it in a form of a gift, Dad to Be hat or # Daddy shirt. Good luck

I always thought it would be cool to go to a really nice restaurant, then have the waiter serve (as a joke of course) some part of the meal in babyfood form.

I read on here once an idea that I just loved.... so Im going to pass along the great idea. Buy a cake and have the words say something like
"Hope you had a good day daddy"
"Happy Birthday daddy"
"I love you daddy"
things like that. See how long it takes him to figure it out. I bought a bib that said "I love my daddy" and left it sitting around the house where I knew he wouldnt miss it.

If you have some pictures being developed, include some sonogram pictures along with let's say your vacation picture. If he asks what the sonogram pictures are all about, just tell him that's a picture of his son or daughter.
