Very rarely is a married life all round smooth. Your case is a bit different. Somehow you got along for 16 years which is not a joke. If you are seriously considering leading a different kind of life and are hell bent upon it, and if you wish to start with a clean slate and remain devoted to the new one, then you might find someone. Otherwise, you can continue with this marriage with some improvement on both sides. You cannot blame your spouse unless you have improved your own conduct.

All these answers do not give you a good reason to stay married. If you love your wife and she loves you, and the only real problem you have is with infidelity, then why not try swinging? Many people enjoy this "wife swapping" sort of lifestyle. You can have rules, or not, and have your cake and eat it too. This is not for me, but seems a way for you both to do what you like to do without hurting the other person. Maybe get some information and make the suggestion to her. You can make the rules and agree on them together.

It sounds like yopu have the answer. Can't be faithful, broken up countless times, infidelity both ends. Does not seem to be a comitted relationship. Better off divorced.

You both need to get some counseling and get yourselves sorted out.

You have not only made vow to each other but also to God. you need to Honor that.. or at least try.

how are persons of the younger generations are supposed to be inspired if all they hear is give up and get a divorce when you have reached a speed bump?

Life is full of disappointments but then that's what makes it life OK

so hang in there OK..I know its hard but sixteen years!

all the best

You really should get a divorce and I am really surprised that it has lasted this long. Stop wasting each other's time and get out of your marriage because if you have no intentions of being faithful then what is the point.

Sounds like you are a great candidate for an open marriage. It might help your marriage. It takes the focus off of the sex part of the relationship. Are other areas of your marriage doing ok? If so, try this.. what can it hurt, you are considering divorce anyway. Maybe some swapping? 3somes? Whatever trips your trigger.

Funny how divorce seems to be the solution to every unhappy marriage, If you are both willing to try go to counseling, ( if you havent already) remember why both of you married each other. Good luck!!!

Since you've both been unfaithful, maybe you're a match! Some people just can't be faithful to anyone. You're the only one who knows if you still want to be married to this person.

Well, marriage ends up morphing into a best friend type of relationship for a lot of people. There are a lot of people who have a lover on the side. I don't think that's wrong. Be discreet though, you don't want to be disrespectful to your wife.
