The seven CDs that you created are probably all part of an image of your hard drive. BEcause the information is spread across the seven CDs, the last one holds a file which tells it where on the other 6 CDs to find all the information.

If you were to take and move all those CDs onto a single DVD, the file that says "Use disk 1" then "Use disk 2" would no longer be correct and the DVD probably would not work.

You should leave it as 7 Cds. If they are showing their age, you should make a new set of all 7 CDs to protect yourself.

But you will probably NOT be able to successfully move all 7 CDs onto one DVD. (Plus if the are all full, they would not fit on one DVD).

You can use Nero Burning Rom or the free Burn4Free.
1. Copy all the CD's on your hard disk, each ine in separate folder.
2. Create a DVD compilation and add the the folders where the CD's reside (see 1.)
3. Burn the DVD.

That's all.
