I live part time in Illinois and part time in Florida. Both places have had them, but Illinois has them frequently, especially in the spring. Florida seems to get them now and then, they seem to spin off of tropical storms....

Not yet. A friend of mine has an environmental science degree. She's telling me in the next 20 years or so, we'll start getting them. The weather patters are changing to conditions that are more than suitable for tornado's. Oh Joy.

yes, There is something so mysterious about the sky when a tornado is near. I used to watch from the roof top until I knew someone that was struck by lightning for not getting indoors soon enough so now I watch the storms from my window. But still fascinating for sure

Nope, never.
We get high wind warnings all the time and in the winter, snow and ice warnings-- oh and the occasional flash flood warning in the Spring.
And let's not forget the extreme fire danger warnings...

No not constant but we do get them from time to time. I live in Wisconsin so we get them every so often.
