(1) "Crayon Shinchan" - Picked up by Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, but only a tiny fraction of episodes will be released on DVD this September. Also, they start well in the middle of the series, and radically change the character of the show in their dub. An uncut complete set, starting with the first TV season, with accurate subtitles... would be great.
(2) "Gedo Senki" (Tales From Earthsea) - Studio Ghibli recent release, will not be available in the USA before 2009 due to the Sci-Fi channel owning the rights (because they made a live-action version based on the same LeGuin novel). There is some hope for importing Region-1 DVDs from England, as it will be released there with English soundtrack.
(3) "Hanaukyo Maid team" - There are two Hanaukyo Maid Team series (the original, and one called "La Verite"). The second series (La Verite) is milder and available in English. The first series is not available.
(4) "Negima?!" - The original Negima series is available in English. The second series, with new character designs and a new storyline, is not.
A couple that are half-released that I'd like to see completed:
(5) "Detective Conan" (Case Closed) - Some episodes with mediocre dubs available in English, but Cartoon Network canceled the show and as a result there don't seem to be any new ones getting made. There are hundreds of episodes that are not available except as import.
(6) "Maison Ikkoku" - Viz released seven of the eight planned box-sets that would complete the series, but for some reason (probably bad sales) never released the eighth.
(7) "Sailor Moon" - A worse-than-mediocre dub, with horrendous editing, exists for the first few seasons, but is out of print. A full uncut release, of every season, would be great.

1. I am listening to Cold Prey by ClearVeil on my zune 2. i have no sound right now 3.it is pretty rare that i rewatch a series... i have to really REALLY like it. but a few off the top of my head i have rewatched are Blood + , Fruits Basket, Azumanga Daioh, and I My Me Strawberry Eggs. ( i own FB, AD and IMMSE) 4. Sometimes i read it..especially if the anime ends much sooner than the manga. ( and sometimes i actually like a manga more than an anime..Such as Naruto. I actually dont like the anime. Naruto's voice annoys me.) 5. yes. Your reasoning is good enough. Currently i have an Anime channel on my cable network ( Charter on Demand)..but it is a premium channel. I think it is like 8 extra dollars a month. which is not bad. But i am also paying for a bunch of crap i dont even care about. The only premium channels I watch are the Anime Network, and some free movies ( usually Sundance) . I wish at least the anime thing were on the basic cable package. And adult swim's lineup of anime just sucks anymore. BQ. I buy manga ( Shonen Jump) every month..I also buy Otaku USA... those are the only 2 anime, manga, merchandise, magazines in my town. But other than that the last thing i bought was NANA the movie.
