I'm considering getting it, beacuse I love YuRiPa and Lenne and the music, but I don't know whether $30+ dollars is going to be a good use of my money...

I really enjoyed FFX-2, but I am a huge FFX fan. I like how X-2 ties up a lot of the loose ends from X. It's a lighter, less serious storyline than most FF games, but it's fun. I also really like the dress-sphere aspect of the game. It's definitely worth checking out, especially because you can find it really cheap now. If you want to get 100% completion, which will give you a different ending, I recommend either buying the Brady Guide or using an online walkthrough.

I know a lot of people don't like this game, but I enjoyed it. It's certainly not the best game in the FF series, but it's a lot of fun. If you are a Yuna or Rikku fan, I recommend it. Also, this game has a New Game Plus feature, where you can start from the beginning with things you've accumulated through your last playthrough. I recommend either buying the guide or using an online walkthrough if you want to get the perfect ending (with 100% completion).
