He only showed some decent skill but spent like 80% of the time getting his as@ kicked by The Legend Killer. Just like I thought, he was gonna get his butt kicked and he was not ready.

If Cody wants to succeed, he's gonna need to at least get a little better and also put on some muscle. Randy Orton is not considered muscular, but yet look at how much more muscular he was than Cody.

i think Cody did as much as WWE would allow him to in his first match. plus the main idea of this match was to put over Dusty's and Randy's feud. Cody is talented, there's definitely more to him than that, we juz have to wait and see. He had a good debut, that missile dropkick was awesome!
i would LOVE to see him feud with Orton. looks like that's in the cards rite?

p.s he is CUTE!!! and HOT!!! GO CODY!!!

Cody's Dusty son, for any doubters. They both share the last name of Runnels (Dusty's name is Virgil Runnels, Codys is Cody Runnels. Dustin Rhodes is actually Virgil Runnels II) Anyway, so far, he's shaping up to be the most talented of the Rhodes family

For his first match out of OVW, it was okay. You really cant judge him based on it, bc the main purpose was to get Orton over as a badass heel that wanted to prove a point to Dusty.

He kinda fllowed in Cena's shoes did he not. He showed up and almost got the pin but lost. I think he deffinately needs to get more moves, more confident speaking on the mic and get a little bigger. If Dusty is his dad then he can live off the name to get fan votes. You never know, it was his first match so he needs practice no doubt.

He did VERY good!
I just wish that he had beaten Orton though
I heard though that Orton would not allow him to win however, saying something to the fact that "some nobody is going to beat me in their 1st match!

He did really good for his first match, he got in some good hits but it wasnt enough to beat Randy Orton.
