True, a person is presumed innocent (which is different, by the way, from being innocent) until proven guilty, but that's a legal distinction; the court of public opinion, or public commentary, is not bound by this restriction when it comes to major public figures. As for proof to back up any charges of rape against Bill Clinton, though I don't currently have the documentation on hand now, it is my understanding that evidence does exist showing that he is, at least, a sexual predator if not a rapist. There is more to his past than Monica Lewinsky or Jennifer Flowers. Why haven't any charges been brought forth? Don't know, but possibly fear of retaliation from some of the Clinton's Arkansas cronies might play a role here. One thing is certain--if Billary is elected, Bill Clinton as First "Gentleman" (hmm, there's an amusing thought) will have a freer hand to philander than he did as President, when the public eye was fixed upon him.

Obviously, there are many on here that do not follow the current news. The accusation was made in the past and again last night on one of the news channels. It does not relate to Monica but to Juanita Broaddrick who is the one who made the claim. The charges stem from when Bill was governor of Arkansas.
Although it is entirely possible that Clinton committed the act, it is just as likely that it was just "pile-on" accusations. The FBI investigated and didn't find enough evidence to prosecute so I will leave it at "innocent until proven more guilty".
I think Hillary has done a good job of both using Bill and distancing herself from him. This latest will just serve to distance him more but shouldn't hurt her chances.
I would not let my daughter (or son) be an intern of any kind in Washington unless I personally knew the person she was working for. There have been too many improprieties taken with interns and pages.

You have to be convicted of rape first to be called a rapist. To my knowledge nobody has come forward to say that Clinton raped her... and certainly no charges have been made in a court.
I hated Clinton but I don't take pot shots at him by calling him a rapist... that's way over the line and it only appeals to people that want to stray away from the real issues or politics.
My daughter would be honored to work as a intern in the White House no matter who occupies it..
Why do people like you make this so personal? If you are going to make politics personal then maybe you should no longer follow it... you can just follow Paris Hilton like the rest of the people that want rumors to rule their lives, your life would be much simpler and it would let the rest of us focus on real issues.

America will be so happy to get Bush out that nothing else will matter. What has Laura done in her time there? Give tours of their MANY Christmas trees at the white house. That is the hugest waste of trees I have ever seen. Since when has 1 not been enough. I know this a tradition that has gone on & on but really we all conserve just to survive,. I would like to see those in lofty positions show the rest of us the courtesy of pretending they know where we are coming from. In this state the Gov. lived on the same amount a welfare recipient would for food, and they saw it was not easy. I like to see stuff like that. Reality check for the higher ups is good now and then.

we are TOAST ! The liberals think of that if we are incapable of being a international power , not to point a superpower , we are going to have peace . it is the comparable theory that became prevailent ahead of the two international wars and korea . they think of the UN will look after us , yet without our militia might the UN has not something . assume harsh and thoughtless cuts in the militia , the Marines disbanded , the fleet scrapped , airpower decreased and the army all the way down to a protection tension . on a similar time as we turn our might into plowshares , others will plot our very final destruction . we are going to have a severe high quality SOCIALIST UTOPIAN government and all our desires would be semi-cared for in exchange for extreme taxation and our freedom .

Hey, I think I can find you a tutor for a middle school level spelling. And just wait until high school or college to learn that Bill Clinton is not a rapist. Be patient child, it seems to me getting involved in the typical non-sense GOP propaganda is too early for you.

Lets just say that if Bill did something wrong, there has been thirty years for those women to file charges. I wouldn't ever believe a person who only makes charges on TV without filing them in a court of law. Its easy enough to say anything without proving it, its easy enough to accuse, but without a proper investigation it belongs with the wack jobs who talk about drug running and murders.
Innocent until proven guilty must irk the hell out of Republicans.
Yes if my daughters were going to be interns I wouldn't have a problem, but I would instruct them to keep their thongs under wraps. Something I suppose Monicas mom never told her.

Well yes he is,and as I recall there is something about a presidential candidate not being directly related to a criminal.
But on a bigger issue, is Hillary a criminal herself?
Since Libby was convicted of lying to the FBI and Hillary did exactly the same thing, isn't she a criminal?
My goodness! How easy you libs are to forget. Do you know why Clinton was impeached? He lied under oath during the Jennifer Flowers trial where he was accused of sexual assault. It was all too obvious that he committed the crime and then he committed more crimes while president no less to cover up his first crimes. Please don't continue to say it was sex between consensual adults.
Oh and by the way, where are all the FemaNazi's who should have stood up for Monica? She was a subordinate to Clinton and he used his office to have sex with her. Isn't that sexual harassment in the workplace?

Isnt this a prime example of defamation of character, and libel??? I would suggest you provide some proof or I can see Tubbys lawyers eating you up for breakfast and spitting you out before lunchtime. Oh and Ive forwarded a copy of this link to Tubbys online address.

Maybe. He was accused of rape but never convicted. No it won't affect Hillary's run. It's old news and no one cared very much at that time even.
