*This is a serious question, even if it does sound like a joke!*
My daughter told me, that one of her friends had said that when you loose your virginity, your eyes change colour. As stupid as it may seem, I wondered if it was true. At first I didnt beleive her, because I didnt think it was logical, but has anyone got a good answer?
Thanks!

That is impossible. I was a teenager not so long ago and I can remember ALLLLLL kinds of little urban myths reguarding how people can tell when you have sex. "You walk different, smell different, voice changes..." Because of all the guilt and angst that usually surrounds this area of development, the myths have more to do with a fear of being ousted, not actual fact

This is just one of those school ground myths that surface from time to time so that kids can feel that they know something about which they really know nothing about the only thing that will change is her demeanour and if she is really unluck she will start her period early and with a gusto

They don't change if you have sex, but they can change colour slightly (blues can go a little bit green, etc) around 15-17, around the time when girls lose their virginity so I can see where she comes from

The whites of the eyes can become temporarily clearer/more white due to pressure changes from the exertion of sex. But, no, the irises do not alter is color.

Tell her she shouldn't believe everything her friends tell her.

And YOU shouldn't believe what your daughter's friend said!

Did YOUR eye color change when you (obviously) lost your virginity?

This shouldn't even be a question you had to ask.

:)

Whoever said this needs to get their head examined--just to see if there is a change in the colour from grey to whatever.

Your pupils dilate when feeling emotion etc, so if you had light coloured eyes, and your pupils dilated, it would seem as if your eyes had become darker...perhaps that's what her friend meant?
