Dancing is always a lot better than watching people make a fool of themselves singing. After a while American Idol gets tired but so you think you can dance really shakes things up. If I had to chose any FOX reality show, I would say hell's kitchen.

I definitely agree 100% American Idol has kind of fallen of the band wagon for me. The people just haven't been very great the last couple of seasons. So You Think You Can Dance has stepped there game up every season and made it a better show. I cant wait to watch it tommorrow!!!

Yeah, i also think 'so you think you can dance' is ten times better and way more entertaining. American idol is so boring u just see/hear ppl. sing which is not as much fun as watching ppl. dance.
I also think as much as (Amer.Idol) its liked today by ppl. it'll be as much the least liked show in a certain yrs. as ratings are already dropping, n the show is becoming boring n too much. Everyone wants something new to see now...........

So you think you can dance is better cuz American idol is way rude and they hurt people feelings and even though SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE is for everyone who wishes to dance!

i would have to say so you think you can dance and american idol are both about equal there both good in their own way so you think you can dance is entertaining because you can watch people try to dance and american idol u can see people try ro sing. i like american idol cuz its fuuny but so you think you can dance is cool too.

I'd love to go back to "The West Wing", "St. Elsewhere", "Dallas", or even "The Dukes of Hazzard."
Please...someone rescue me from the sea of reality TV that everyone thinks is the only thing anybody will watch.
I wish they'd get rid of both American Idle (sic) AND So You Think You Can Dance. And while they're at it, they can trash "The Bachelor(ette)", "Dancing With The Stars", and "Big Brother."
Put that crap back on MTV where it belongs.

I like American Idol better b/c these are people who are trying to make it in the industry. Celebrities have already had their time in the limelight. Plus, we see so much of them already on TV, big screen, magazines and Internet. I'd rather see someone making from the bottom to the top.

there's too much drama going on at IDOL.
I'm tired of watching people sing... it gets old after a while.
with the DANCE theme like this and Dancing with the Stars it kinda helps get ones groove on... LOL
no kidding.
It makes me think, Oh man! I can do that, too.
and it's so sensual and romantic and makes you wanna... y'know what... hehe
or upbeat and makes you want to exercise.
either way it's the DANCE...
