They did a good job considering that the book is so long. I enjoyed it, though.

It was okay. But for Harry Potter book readers, it can be a disappointment. The longest book in the series is the shortest Harry potter movie. The movie didn't include so many things from the book. The fight and the death scenes at the end was too short and kind of dissapointing. Oh well, besides that, it was nice. Don't have too high expectations and you'll like it.

I enjoyed the movie a lot, really liked it.
I guess the characters are growing older, and they have diferent concerns than they were kid, and they make a good job showing that, just as the author of the book did.
Of course you cannot take to the screen all the things in the book, but it have happened with the other movies, specially the fourth, since the fourth and fifth books are so big.
And of course they will show things diferent than you imagined it when you read the book, that's the magic of reading, and about the book, you make your own magic world in your mind.
I love the books, and like this movie a lot as well.
In fact, i'm kind of worried, and sad, because i think they have to hurry if they want to use the same actors in the next two movies. They are getting older than their characters!!!

I've seen it, and will see it again. I didn't think they did a good job of adapting the book though - it doesn't make sense that the longest book was squashed into such a relatively short movie! More than half the book was missed out, giving the impression of just a series of sequences summarising the main plot points. It was more like a montage than a movie. I actually thought it was the weakest of the Potter movies so far.

Yes the movie is good but I'm not a book reader so I don't know about the length and details. I recommend seeing it in IMAX the last 20 minutes are 3D.

Its very diferent from the other movies
personally i think this one was very true to the book
they had almost every important scene in it and the way they made it as dark as the book sounds was incredible.
the actors have all matured and are far better than the last film
in all i give it 10/10 it was fantastic!! (they should stick with that new director lol)

It was okay. Worth going to see, but rather different from the other movies. Not as much fantasy and magic in this one. A little more "adult" than the others.

I liked it! I thought it was pretty good, i don't read the books though because it might spoil the movies for me! Now we wouldn't want that!

it disappointed me...but i guess they did a good job of shrinking it, that's for sure. i was looking forward to things from the book, but when i saw the movie, they didn't even include it! that pissed me off but besides that, it was good.
