Ever since I was born, my eyes have blinked on their own every few seconds. I would like this to stop. Thank you.

Close your eyes tightly!

You have now stopped blinking!!

We blink to keep our eyes moist, and to remove dust and other particles from them. It is totally natural, and there is no way to stop it!

If you are concerned about it, ask your eye doctor!

(What does this have to do with cars and transportation?)

This may be caused simply by your eyes being dry...and there are varying degrees of dryness that you could be suffering from. Try a few different types of eye drops and see if they help. Natural tear eyedrops are better than medicated. But if neither of those work, talk to your eye doctor, or primary physician, about a prescription drop. I'm currently on Restasis prescription eye drops to help my own dry eyes moisten up before I have Lasik surgery in July. You should definately have your eye doctor check it out though, just to be sure its not something more serious than dry eye. Especially since it seems to be bothering you so much. Good Luck!

I think what you mean is that you want the rate of your blinking to slow down, not stop completely. What is the exact rate of your bliking? Is it noticably faster than other people? Have others commented on how fast or how often you blink?

I am a master hypnotist and might have some suggestions which could help you regulate your blinking. Let me know if I can be of help.

If it gets worse around people, then it might be some kind of anxiety problem. Otherwise, maybe your eyes are just dry or its some kind of allergy. The best thing to do would be to ask your doctor.

....blinking every few seconds on their own .....maybe it is the turn indicator or there is also a relay that could be bad but my bet would be that you have a few loose wires caused by having a few loose screws.

Duct tape. If you find the cure share it with us. I'm sure most of us would prefer to be diagnosed on the Internet as opposed to getting medical help from a professional. Also if you find a way that we never need to eat or use a toilet again that would help to. especially on long trips

super glue your lids open, then when your eyes totally dry out and you go blind, you might figure out why they blinked in the first place.
BTW, where you born stupid, or do you have to work at it?

Go to a gas station and look @ the price of fuel per gallon. You will just stare, unblinking, in shock at the sign.
