if you are willing to pay, then spy sweeper if you don't then it would be the combination of spyware terminator and a squared free. A squared updates daily, and has over 750,000 signatures, that's more than spybot, and ad aware combined.
Check out the signatures here:http://www.emsisoft.com/en/
and get it here: http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/free/
Go here for spyware terminator:http://www.spywareterminator.com/

PC World recently compared them all and found that three used together get the most.

Adaware SE Personal
Spybot Search and Destroy
and
Microsoft Defender.

Spysweeper or Spyware Doctor. You have to pay for both but they keep you from getting infected. The free antispyware is scan only... it (sometimes) removes the bad stuff after it's already on your computer.

No single anti-spyware program is sufficient, you need several. Pick at least 3 of these:

AdAware 2007
Spybot Search & Destroy
AVG anti-spy
a squared
SUPERAntispy
Windows Defender

all will remove spyware & some also block it

all are free, get at download.com or pcworld.com or tucows
