There is really not a subsitite for water, but you can safely flavor it naturally and maybe that will make it more palatable.
Try crushing mint leaves in the bottom of a glass, top with lots of ice, and then water. Or put slices of lemon, lime or orange in it.
Do you like iced tea? Lipton makes a "cold brew" teabag that makes homemade tea a breeze. And it has no calories, more flavor, and lots of natural good antioxidants, etc.
Read the labels on the bottled stuff, and stay away from anything unnatural...colors, artificial flavors, sugar subsitites. None of that is good for you, so its probably not good for the baby either.
You can also get water by eating fruits and vegetables that have high water contents, like watermelon, cantelope, citrus, celery, apples.
Bottled water does taste pretty gross unless you can spring for Evian or Figi. Try getting a Brita water filtration pitcher to use for tap water, and keep it in the fridge. If you want to tote it around with you, use glass bottles. (Just save some of those Sobe, juice or tea bottles that have screw off tops, and wash in the dishwasher to keep clean. Lots better for you than plastic.)
Best thing is to check with your doctor. My best friend had four kids and they are all good and healthy, and she didn't drink a drop of anything unnatural. She wasn't a big fan of water either, but keeping it really cold helped her. She really had to watch the sugar content of stuff, so fruit juices weren't an option for her. Just lots of milk, water, and tea. You only have six more months, so keep that in mind. (She always had a 2 liter bottle of Coke in her hospital bag, and guzzled that once the baby was born!)
Take care, and hope you have a healthy happy baby!

Gatorade, tea, and any kind of vitamin water, isn't going to be the perfect substitute for water. Those drinks have sugar in it too, and you don't want to consume too much sugar. Try puttng strawberries or lemon, or lime in your water to give it a little flavor. You also want to be careful drinking to much vitamin water, too much vitamins isn't good for you. You need to be drinking about 8, 8oz of water a day. It's good for you and the baby.

Crystal Light. I really drank a lot of that when I was pregnant. The lemonade one is really good. Try freezing some thing like a 100% juice or a crystal light, and letting it thaw while you drink. That can help it be more like a slushi since its summer anyway. Gatorade, sobe water and things like that usually have a lot of sugar, and sugar only makes you more thirsty (not to mention bloated). Good luck, hang in there!

A friend of mine just had her son and while she was pregnant, she was constantly carrying around a Gatorade. I asked her about it one day and she said that her doc told her to drink Gatorade if she couldnt keep water down. Double check with your doctor but everytime I saw her thats what she was drinking (except for the last week of her pregnancy- I guess her doctor told her to drink Diet Rasberry Tea... I guess it was to help her start going into labor)

Wel, water is a necessary tool for healthy pregnancy. I'd try some gatorade as it's good to keep you hydrated, but don't stray from the water... It flushes your body out. Just switch on and off from gatorade and water. :) I think gatorade will be just fine for you, i was drinking that a few times when the summer first started to keep myself hydrated and i'm 6 months along now and she's growing just fine! :)

Try Propel Water. I found it doesn't really have an after taste like other flavored waters. And your body needs fluids, the goal is to stay hydrated. Sugar is dehydrating, that's why they say stay away from pop/soda. I think the other things you mentioned are good.

I wouldn't say it's a good substitute, but it's not going to hurt. You do need to start drinking more water, it's better for you and for the baby. Check the sugar content of what you're drinking, and make sure to avoid artificial sweeteners. Drink lots and lots of fluid, and try to get in more water. =)

gatorade is not good. Vitamin water is ok. Or you could add crystal light. You should only drink gatorade if you a doing an activity where you sweat alot.

Those are perfectly fine substitutes for water. You want to stay away from caffeine. Also don't buy the "waters" that contain herbal energizers. Congrats on your pregnancy.
