Shrimp are little morsels of protein and cholesterol. They are good for you unless you have elevated cholesterol or an allergy...

Cocktail sauce is a good starting point and will keep your less-than-adventurous guests happy. For the second sauce I'd go with El Diablo shrimp sauce. this is pretty simple (it's lemon juice, lime juice, splash of orange juice, butter, hot sauce and a few seasonings) and can be found on the Weber Grill website. On the other end of the heat scale is a lovely Old Bay Shrimp Dip that is cool for almost any gathering. It's fairly creamy and easy to whip up. Links for the last two are listed below here. Hope this helps!

Hmm. Well, I would look at two immediately: - Garlic Butter with Lemon - Shrimp Cocktail dipping sauce Third one would probably be just a Tartar sauce. You can buy the Shrimp Cocktail and Tartar sauces...I think Heinz makes two that are pretty good. For the garlic butter sauce, you melt and clarify butter, add minced garlic or garlic puree, and a dash of fresh lemon juice to add flavor. This is best served warmed so either serve it on a warming plate, or see if you can use a fondue dish.

Shrimp is great for anybody on a diet just don't add all the stuff that's bad for you like butter and oils and Alfredo sauce tempting as it might seem . Try sauteing them with some Asian spices like Ginger and serving over a bed of rice with a side of stir fry veggies Yum Yum

They are great for dieters. If they need to be peeled you spend a lot of time at the table getting the shell off before you get that morsel to eat. When you eat it you re downing something that is all protein which is low in all the bad stuff (calories, fat, carbs).
The only thing to avoid is that cocktail sauce ot butter for a dip. If you stay off that part you can eat your fill of shrimp without worrying.

Most seafood is good for you, as long as it is not cooked in fat/oil and doesn't have dough or something around it. If it is boiled in water or steamed, it should be healthy and yummy!
