Ask yourself this. Was that a system message or were you surfing the internet when you saw it. If you were surfing the internet, then ignore it and move on. It's a spam pop up. If you are unsure, then check your system logs and see if there are any warnings or errors.

Right click on "My Computer" and select "Manage". From there, click on the "Event Viewer" and look around at the three areas there. You can double click on any message and see the exact contents. If you don't see any messages like the one you saw on your screen previously, then you should be ok.

As an aside, you may want to scan your computer for spy-ware and viruses while you are at it. Couldn't hurt and it just may turn up something.

Good Luck

It sounds like an annoying popup which could be caused by spyware. Do not click anywhere but on the "X" button on your top right corner. I'd run a spyware program SpywareTerminator, Spybot and/or AdAware. This will hopefully clean out any spyware. If your not already using Firefox I may suggest using it as they have a popup blocker built in.

As the previous poster noted it is a pop-up ad.

To stop these type of messages when you are surffing the internet turn on your pop-up blocker.

Tools/Internet Options
Under the Privacy tab

This will get most of them.

Hope this helps....
