Just wondering. lol. I live in Maryland, and always wanted to live in a big city where you could just walk on the sidewalk and the stores are next to each other. =)

I'm planning on going to college in New york so yea....^^ If you live in the city, do you really need a car?

=D

NYC is a lot of fun and there is always something going on no matter what time of day. Tons of shows or events to see. I don't actually live in NYC but I live in NJ about 1/2 hr from the city so I go often enough.

You definitely don't need a car and are actually better off not having one because parking can be hell. Plus, there is alternate side of the street parking rules which means a lot of people have to move their car every other day which is a pain. Transportation around the city is really convenient you can take the subway or buses for very reasonable rates.

It's a lot of fun going to all the stores and seeing people. It's definitely a little overwhelming and I'm always glad to be in a bit more peaceful environment than the city.
