the reason you have them is that you produce sperm 24/7. it pretty much has to get out somehow to make room for more so either you make it come out or your body will.

All young teen men , and some older ones !! go through this , it is just your body telling you that you are going through puberty . At around this age your hormones are raging and producing high amounts of sperm contained in your semen (c*m)
It has to eventually release somewhere , and indeed some will pass through when you urinate (pee) but most is waiting for ejaculation . If you don't or rarely masturbate you will naturally have a wet dream (nocturnal emission) when your penis becomes erect during sleep . As this happens during a dream , hence the name "wet dream"
These occurrences should reduce and disappear in time when you become sexually active , so perhaps masturbation in late evening may help reduce or stop them
I presume you want to prevent them to stop embarrassment when your mother will notice staining on your night-ware or bedding , but both your parents will be well aware of why this happens , and will probably say nothing.
Unfortunately you are learning the same way as all us other guys did that becoming adult is not without its problems !!
Good luck

I don't see a need to prevent them. They're a natural, healthy part of being a man. Some men don't get them and are jealous of those who do.

You don't mention your age, but I'm wondering if you're afraid your mom will find your semen-stained pajamas or sheets in the laundry. Suggestion: print off a copy of the web page whose link is below. If she asks about your sheets, just hand her the printout and say "This should explain it for you." Then go back to your room as if nothing were wrong, because nothing really is wrong!

Not really sweetie, its natural, you could, as in one of your answers, "hit it" before you go to bed but if its going to happen its going to happen. From your line of question I take it puberty/adolescence is with you so It is just a stage you are going through don't worry about it, if your worried about parents etc you could always sleep on a towel and just pop that in the wash the following morning!!

Yes, masturbate regularly.
Wet dreams is just your body's way to discharge excess semen.

Just enjoy the dream whilst you are young enough.
