Measure around chest under breasts. Round up. Add four if its an even number and five if it is an odd number. That is your band size.

Measure around chest at nipples at the widest part of your breast. Round up. Subtract first number from this.

1" is an A, 2" is a B, 3" is a C.

Or go to Nordstroms, Sears, or JCPenney and get sized (NOT Victoria Secret as they have a reputation for sizing incorrectly-personal experience and reviews from other women.)

Just remember that bra sizes are not standardized, so you could be a 36B in one bra and a 36C in another bra.

It's actually pretty simple. Get a tape measure (like the kind use for sewing) and measure just below the breast towards the bottom of the rib cage. This will give you the width or size of bra you should be looking for. Ex. If you measure 34 inches then you want to look for a bra that has 34 on it. The other part is a little tricker and will require you to try some bras in your size on. A - cups are for very small breasts (younger girls usually start off here
B - cups are slightly larger
C - cups are mid range
D - cups are large breast
They have them larger but this should give you the idea.
So when picking it out look for the size (your inches around) then look for a cup size that fits. (34B) Always try on bras because even if it has your size each cut fits a little different.

Using a soft tape-measure, measure around the ribcage directly under the bust. The tape should rest on the lower band of your bra. Be sure the tape is snug, smooth across the back and level with the front.

Add 5 to this measurement to obtain your band size. For example, if your ribcage measurement is 29" + (5) = 34" band size. If the resulting band size is an odd number like 33", you can usually go to the next even band size (34"), but you may also want to try the next lower band size (32").

Measure completely around the bust at the fullest point, holding the tape measure straight but not tight. The difference between this measurement and your BAND size is your cup size. Each inch of difference is equal to one cup size. For example, if your band size is 34" and your bust measurement is 35", you wear an "A" cup.

If the difference is:
Half inch AA cup
One inch A cup
Two inches B cup
Three inches C cup
Four inches D cup

And so on. When you go to a store, start trying on the bras of that size. You may have to try one size up or one size down.

well, first off, the number is the number of inches around your chest, and is not necessarily affected by your breast size, but more by how wide your chest is, or how big around you are. then there are cup sizes, which have to do specifically with the size of your breasts. in that instance, you simply have to try bras on, and find out what cup size you are, A, B, C, D, etc...combine the two to get your bra size

34 C
