I need to remove some adhesive tape from the door of my Blazer. The tape did hold some molding in place. What is the best and cheapest way to remove? I need to sand and primer this door.

Well since your going to be repainting it anyways.
Scrape it off with a razor blade and clean up the rest with the thinner that you already have on hand.

let it sit on for a minute and wipe it off.

since you are going to be sanding the door anyway, go ahead and sand the adhesive off.

Goo-Gone - it's magic on adhesive residue. Put just a little on a cloth and rub.

Pull off what you can, and use some type of solvent to remove the residue. Gasoline, thinner, naptha, acetone, alcohol, or even WD-40.

good luck.

alcohol, brake cleaner, carb cleaner. if your sanding and priming it don't matter much what you use.
