Your frame number might not be enough. Do you have the VIN number?
Its your tenth number / letter that will tell you.

Go to the dvla website, if you have enough info on the bike you can type it in there and it should show what year the bike was made.
(Thats presuming you are in the uk and the bike would have been on the road at some point!)
Dont you have the logbook or anything? Obviously that would be a great help!

you need the vin number to determine the year.
